There are many factors to consider when implementing such a program, like which products should be transfused and when? Which emergency vehicles should carry these products? When should prehospital patients be transfused? How can these transfusions be monitored for adverse events both during and after the transfusion? What are the regulations concerning prehospital transfusion, and who will pay for it? This session will present the latest evidence and expert opinion from leaders in trauma resuscitation on these questions and more.
